After Care Information
There may be a small build up of blood/plasma underneath your second skin, that is completely normal. Recommended to keep it on for 3-7 days but If there is a large ink sack or a red ring of irritation you can go ahead and remove the second skin carefully.
When Taking off the Second Skin remove it in the shower under water. Warm water can help loosen the adhesive. Start at edge peeling Slowly in the direction of your hair growth. (Be sure to do this gently as you don’t want to remove any of the scabbing and pull out ink)
Once you remove the Second Skin from your tattoo, make sure to gently wash it with unscented antibacterial soap and pat or air dry.(Do not use a scrubby, loofah or wash rag on your new tattoo.)
With clean hands apply a very thin layer of Aquaphor 2-3 times a day for 2 weeks, until the tattoo is fully healed and then you can use lotion.
You want to wear clean, loose, soft clothing on your tattoo if you must cover it. You don’t want anything tight fitting or any jewelry or loose items rubbing on your tattoo.
Clean bed sheets, and blankets are highly recommended to avoid bacteria that could cause infections.
DO NOT
Do not Scratch, Peel or Pick at your tattoo this can cause ink fall out and unnecessary scarring.
Do not expose your new tattoo to direct sunlight especially until fully healed. Once healed be sure to use sunscreen as a layer of protection for your tattoo.

Remember a tattoo is an Open Wound so you want to take care of it as such! Please follow these aftercare instructions to ensure your tattoo heals properly:
Touchups
If your tattoo needs to be touched up I offer free touch up sessions within the first 3 months of getting your tattoo (as long as you have been following proper aftercare instructions). I don’t offer free touchups on fingers or toes as these areas are more difficult to heal and are prone to fading.
